Plant Health Care Services
Adam Whitney and his team spent all day cutting down dead trees and limbing others that were too heavy. He did an amazing job cleaning up all around the property and checking the health of many trees that might pose a problem. He was great in communicating his observations and plan of action to me. I highly recommend Adam and his team.
Communicating Observations and Plan of Action
Lisa PAdam handled a complicated tree removal beautifully. This was a large tree in a location that required the use of a crane and traffic flaggers. He provided a thorough proposal, a fair estimate, and did an outstanding job. I also appreciated that we communicated actively and was responsive. The job finished early and came in 3% under the quote! Highly recommend this total pro.
Complicated Tree Removal
Andrew LaneWhitney Tree Service did a great job at my home removing several problem trees. Adam and the Whitney team are seasoned professionals and they do an outstanding job at fair price. I would highly recommend Whitney Tree Service to property owners in central Vermont.
Quality, Professionalism, Value
Ray DohertyWe've used Whitney Tree Service twice now. Adam Whitney is very knowledgeable, and in fact advised us not to cut down certain trees. They do a great job, are very friendly and professional, and leave the site cleaner than when they started. Highly recommend.
Advised Us Not to Cut Certain Trees
Steve RosenbergMarilyn & Adam of Whitney Tree Service are simply terrific to work with. They arrive when they say they’ll arrive, do the work in a professional manner, leave the job site spotless and have never exceeded their quote. Can’t ask anything more. But to top it off, they are nice to deal with. Couldn’t recommend them higher.
Simply Terrific to Work With
Stephen FriedWe just had some clearing work done at our house to open things up for more light. Adam came and made a plan with me ahead of time, then completed the work ahead of schedule. His crew was professional, efficient, and overall pretty impressive to watch! They took down about 12 or so medium to large trees in a tight space, and they put them down neatly, without even one tree overlapping another on the ground. They went above and beyond, and I couldn't be any happier with the work. Highly recommended!
Open Things Up for More Light
Jeremy TWhitney's Tree Service is simply the best. Absolutely professional work. Adam, Marilyn are easy to talk to and are great at keeping in touch. We've had a few huge trees taken down (3 foot diameter) and the work was done safely with perfect results. We also had 25 stumps ground down with their amazing machine. There is no one more knowledgeable and skilled. The prices are more than reasonable and we will be calling on them this spring - wouldn't think of contracting with anyone else!
Huge Trees and 25 Stumps
Bill SugarmanAdam and his team are amazing. We’ve had them take down a large white pine here or there in the past. Then recently we asked them to clear ~30+ pines and other trees from around a home we just purchased. To see what 3 people, including Adam, could accomplish in just 2 days was amazing. Professional, efficient, safe, and very accommodating are the best words I can use to describe Whitney Tree Service. Thanks to Adam and his team for the great experience and result!!!!
Cleared ~30+ Pines and Other Trees
Ben SoucyAdam and his team are incredible. From the initial site visit all the way through clean up, Adam was clear, straightforward, communicative, and thorough. The whole crew was courteous, and they left the site in a much better place than I had anticipated. There's no better tree service company—professionals to the core. Highly recommended.

Top Notch Work
Amy SmithAdam and his crew were fantastic from start to finish. Last month they took down about a dozen trees in one day, handled some tricky spots and left the property spotless — chips and logs all cleaned up. Everyone on the team was friendly and respectful; one even walked the property with me afterward to make sure I was happy with everything. They exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend them!
Exceeded Expectations
Jackie BransonI can’t recommend Adam Whitney Tree Service highly enough. We have a beautiful patch of birch trees along the side of our house, and they were all dying; leaves thinning, branches brittle, and the whole grove looking like it wouldn’t make it. Adam came out, quickly diagnosed the issue, and laid out a clear plan to bring them back to life. He executed it perfectly, and now every single tree is thriving again! It’s honestly amazing to see how healthy and vibrant they look. If you care about your trees, call Adam… you won’t be disappointed!

Samantha SteinAdam and his crew are the best in the business ...proper professionals ...arrive with the right equipment, a highly trained crew, an actual plan [for] large, complex, high-risk removals around an active commercial property with tenants constantly coming and going. Adam was ...thoughtful, methodical, safety-focused, and organized. ...the crew was efficient, coordinated, and completely in control... The result? Massive improvement to the property, zero drama, excellent cleanup, and the kind of professionalism that’s become depressingly rare these days.
